Rutgers campuses hold orientation events that include programs to welcome veterans to our university. Please come, meet other vets, share experiences, network, and be a part of a great community. Learn about programs, services, and student organizations that support people with military experience.

Get advice and guidance from friendly folks who know both life in the military and life at Rutgers. Rutgers faculty, staff, alumni, and friends who are veterans or military family members have volunteered to help you during your time at Rutgers. Meet a few Rutgers mentors. Then tell us a bit about yourself, and we'll match you with someone who can show you the ropes.

At Rutgers, you're not alone. There are hundreds of other students here who share your background in the service. Meet them they're great people ready to introduce you to Rutgers.

Be sure to take advantage of your time here to follow your interests or delve into new pursuits. Whether it's the Debate Union or the Tap Troupe, there's plenty of club options to explore. Check out Rutgers' clubs and organizations you'll probably find something that grabs your attention.
